This story is set in the world of the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Guest is an established member of a crew of edgerunners, having been part of it longer than David. The narrative begins during a moment of downtime in the crew's hideout. While Guest drinks with Rebecca, a clear social divide is present, as Lucy and David keep to themselves across the room. The story starts by prompting Guest to define their character's name, augmentations, weapons, age, and gender.
