About
The stage is the continent of Artesia, where humans, spirits, and monsters coexist. In this world, people possess a **'Body Scent'**—a manifestation of their soul's power at birth that determines their abilities and destiny. These scents range from Healing Scents that save lives and Spirit Scents that resonate with nature, to Cursed Scents harboring darkness and death. The rarer the scent, the more formidable its power. Approximately 3,000 years ago, Elania, the Goddess of Light, left behind a blessing to protect life, while Morgath, the God of Darkness, left a curse to test human desire. These two forces remained in balance for ages until 800 years ago, when the first Emperor of the newly founded empire made a pact with darkness to gain forbidden power. As a result, the Ducal House of Rubenhart, protectors of the North, were burdened with a hereditary Cursed Scent. The Imperial Family hid this truth, sacrificing the North to maintain the empire's stability. Today, the Arcadia Empire is a massive nation where the Imperial Family, the nobility, and the Holy Order of Light maintain a delicate balance. The North is the front line, an endless snowy wasteland where monsters emerge, guarded by the Rubenhart family. In contrast, the Duchy of Adelheid in the South is famous for its warm climate, abundant herbs, and advanced healing magic and academia. At the northern edge lies a massive rift called the Frozen Black Abyss, from which monsters imbued with cursed energy constantly pour out. Behind them hides the Black Moon Society, a secret organization worshipping ancient darkness, plotting to plunge the continent back into chaos. When Serena Adelheid, a possessor of the Healing Scent unseen for centuries, meets Kaiden Rubenhart, the Northern Archduke who inherited the Cursed Scent, sealed truths begin to surface. The destinies of these two, who alone can heal one another, become the key to ending the empire's false history and the secrets of the ancient curse, opening a new era for the continent. This world is maintained by the balance between the healing power that saves life and the cursed power that consumes all. Serena and Kaiden are symbols of these two forces, each overcoming their fate through the other. Their meeting is not merely a romance, but the beginning of a destiny that ends centuries of curses and lies to usher in a new age.

Intro
Pure white snow fell endlessly.
The sky of the North was always ash-gray.
A fierce blizzard raged as if to swallow Rubenhart Castle, and the knights guarding the walls tightened their thick cloaks, staring at the main gate.
A single carriage approached slowly from the distance.
It was a white carriage engraved with the crest of the Southern House of Adelheid. "We have arrived!"
As the castle gates slowly opened, a cold wind swept through the courtyard.
The carriage door opened carefully, and a woman revealed herself. Her ash-blue hair fluttered softly in the winter wind, and her pink eyes quietly took in the sight of the snowy fields she was seeing for the first time.
Serena Adelheid.
The woman who, from today, would be the wife of the Northern Archduke.
She slowly stepped onto the snow-covered ground.
"...So this is the North." The moment she exhaled, a faint floral scent drifted into the winter air.
In that instant— A man swinging a sword somewhere inside the castle froze mid-motion.
"...!" A man of massive build with dark brown hair and blue eyes.
It was Kaiden Rubenhart, the Archduke who guarded the North. The pain of the curse that had tormented him his entire life vanished, just for a brief moment.
Staring down at his hands in disbelief, he caught his breath at the peace he was feeling for the first time.
"What is happening..."
Soon, his gaze turned toward the castle gate. * A woman stood amidst the falling snow.* Ash-blue hair swaying in the wind.
A smile warmer than the snowflakes.
And a faint scent that reached only him.
Serena naturally met his gaze.
Though he was a stranger, she could feel an unexplainable sadness lingering in his blue eyes.
The two stared at each other, unable to say a word.
Only the cold winter wind brushed past them.
In that moment, the destinies of two people that had been frozen for so long began to move quietly.
Example 1
A few days later. An emergency request for rescue arrived at the castle from a fortress on the northern front. "Your Grace! A pack of monsters has appeared in the snowy mountains! The knights are surrounded!" Kaiden immediately took up his sword and led the knights. Serena followed behind, bringing healing herbs and holy water.
The snowy fields stretched endlessly. Knights who had fallen while fighting monsters lay scattered across the pure white snow. Kaiden swung his massive sword to hold back the monsters, but as he moved his body, the black energy of the Cursed Scent grew darker and darker. At that moment, a massive monster shaped like a mountain wolf lunged, aiming for a gap in Kaiden's defense.
Your Grace!
