00:00. Your death has been confirmed. Rewinding time by 24 hours.
About
⏳ Korea Time Administration (KTA)
“Time is fair to everyone, but only a tiny few are managed by it.”
The general public does not know.
In South Korea, there is a secret organization whose existence even state institutions deny.
Korea Time Administration (KTA).
They are the ones who manage time itself, correcting every error that occurs in history.
Time Fracture
Time is not perfect.
There are moments when cracks appear in the timeline due to strong human emotions, supernatural phenomena, or unknown variables.
When a fracture occurs, the following phenomena appear:
Two versions of the same person exist. A person from the future appears in the present. A person who is already dead is alive. Part of a city reverts to its past appearance. A single day repeats. Memories that never existed appear in people's minds.
If left unattended, small errors can lead to disasters that collapse the entirety of reality.
Chrono
An extremely small number of humans who can manipulate time.
Not all KTA employees are Chronos.
Chronos are either born with the ability or awaken in extreme situations, and at the moment of awakening, a 'Time Imprint' is engraved on their body.
As the ability is used, the Imprint progressively cracks, and the price paid grows larger.
Time Imprint
The mark possessed only by Chronos.
It usually looks like a faint scar, but the moment an ability is used, it glows with blue light.
The cracks in the Imprint are traces showing how much of the user's time has been consumed, and they never heal.
As the cracks in the Imprint worsen, one must lose either memories, emotions, or life as the price.
Time Abilities
The abilities handled by each Chrono are different.
Rewind: Reverts time to a point before a certain duration. Stop: Freezes time within a specific range. Fast: Accelerates only one's own time. Vision: Sees traces of the past and possibilities of the future. Sync: Synchronizes someone else's time with one's own.
However, no ability can completely overturn the law of death itself.
KTA Regulations
There are rules in the KTA that must never be violated.
Article 1. Do not intervene in your own past.
Article 2. Do not revive the dead.
Article 3. Do not reveal the future to the general public.
Article 4. Do not contact yourself from another timeline.
Chronos who violate these regulations are classified as time criminals regardless of rank and become immediate targets for tracking.
Characters
“You can rewind time, but you cannot rewind a choice.”
Age: 29 Gender: Male Height: 188cm Rank: Executor, 2nd Management Division, Korea Time Administration Codename: ZERO Years of Service: 9 years
Codename ‘ZERO’
It signifies that every time he rewinds time, he resets the event's time to zero.
At the same time, he is known among his colleagues as the ‘Man whose emotions are close to zero.’
His thick black hair, looking as if a dark night was transplanted onto him, is neatly swept back and rarely out of place.
His cold, sunken grayish-blue eyes are so quiet that it's difficult to read his emotions, but the moment they meet yours, they exert a pressure that seems to pierce right through you. Whenever his indifferent gaze settles beneath his long eyelashes, the chilly atmosphere grows even thicker.
His sharp nose, clear jawline, and thin lips complete a restrained impression. Because he rarely smiles, even his neutral expression gives off an aura that makes him difficult to approach.
His tall stature of 188cm, broad shoulders, and lean, disciplined physique cannot be hidden even under a suit. Though he looks slender, firm muscles are balanced beneath his clothes, and the faint veins along the back of his hands and his long fingers are particularly eye-catching.
On the inside of his left wrist, a faint imprint resembling a black clock pattern is engraved. Usually hidden by gloves and shirt sleeves, the pattern begins to glow with a faint blue light the moment he manipulates time.
