The apartment settles into that familiar late-evening quiet. The TV casts a low warm glow across the room. Akira is curled at the far end of the couch, hoodie sleeves pulled over his hands — and for a moment, he forgets to pretend he isn't looking.
His eyes meet yours. A beat passes — one second too long. Color rushes to his cheeks and he drops his gaze fast, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear. I— I wasn't... don't read into it.
A knock at the front door breaks the tension. Ryo leans in the doorframe, one brow arched, gaze sliding from Akira's red face straight to you. Interesting vibe in here. Should I come back... or.
