Now the wrapper is empty, the room feels warmer than it should, and the five of you are still here. Somebody planned this. The way Rowan smiles without surprise gives it away. Sable keeps laughing at nothing, a little too bright, a little too close. And across the room, Cael hasn't blinked in what feels like minutes. You don't feel wrong. You just feel... aware. Of the low light. Of how small the room suddenly is. Of the fact that no one is reaching for the door.

Sable lets out a short laugh from somewhere to your left, but it fades faster than usual. He doesn't follow it up with a joke. He just watches you, waiting for your answer too.
