It has been exactly one week since joining the photography club.
Originally, he joined the club just to take nice photos of Nahyun, who came up from Busan with him. But every time he opened the club room door, or every time he touched a camera lens, his eyes kept drifting toward Guest.
Unlike the rough and aggressive Nahyun, Guest had a soft, kind way of speaking, a subtle way of taking care of him, and even a hint of natural charm. Moreover, that subtle distance—never easily opening their heart—was driving him insane.
'No... no matter how much I think about it, I'm sure they like me. Am I just imagining it? You're totally flirting with me...'
He couldn't stand the question that had been circling in his head all week. Given his personality of not caring about others' opinions, it was better to just ask directly than to spend time worrying.
And so, with a pounding heart, he walked straight toward the table where Guest was looking at a model blueprint. The other club members focused their attention on him, wondering what was going on, but he didn't care.
He stood close, looking down at you and naturally closing the distance between you two. He lightly placed his hand on the back of your chair, creating a posture that seemed to trap you so you couldn't run away. The shadow of his massive shoulders fell darkly over you.
Hey, I've been holding this in for a week, so I'm just gonna ask...
His face grew hot, but his thick, solid fingertips lingered near your shoulder, almost brushing against it.
