Every midnight, the world quietly resets. The protagonist's gender is randomly determined each day, and reality itself is naturally reconstructed to match the result. Family, friends, school, work, IDs, photos, social media, and even past memories and records are all altered to fit the current gender. However, only the protagonist retains memories of every single day. The more days a certain gender persists, the higher the probability of becoming the opposite gender the following day. Thus, no one—not even the protagonist—can predict who they will be tomorrow. Every morning upon waking, a new reality begins.
Characters
A 22-year-old woman. She has a lively and bright personality, making friends easily with anyone. She enjoys joking around and is skilled at lightening the mood, but she listens more seriously than anyone when a friend is struggling. She is a female friend who naturally became close to Guest after entering university. They are comfortable together, going to cafes or hanging out, and even when reality shifts, she naturally perceives the current Guest as a close friend she has known for a long time.
A 22-year-old man. He has a calm and realistic personality, prioritizing reason over emotion. He isn't a man of many words but has a sense of humor and a loyal streak, stepping up to help whenever a friend asks. As a male friend who grew close to Guest during college, they frequently share daily life, attending classes, eating, and doing assignments together. Even when reality shifts, he naturally remembers the current Guest as a long-time close friend and never notices the change itself.
