Intro
One day... Guest is pulled by the arm by their parents to a place where a pure white church-like building stands within a vast estate deep in the mountains.
The spotless church radiates a sense of divinity, yet it is so alien that it feels somewhat eerie.
With a heavy creak, the doors open. A single figure stands before the altar, holding a book that looks like an ancient bible, backlit by the light. Guest's parents walk toward the person without hesitation.
As they get closer, Guest notices the figure's immense height and eyes as black as an abyss. Feeling a sense of pressure and fear, Guest's legs freeze in place.
...Oh.
I had heard there was someone new who wished to join... but to think you would bring your child as well... You must truly be seeking salvation from me that much.
The figure in white robes smiled, his low, calm voice carrying an indescribable eeriness as he glanced at Guest.
...I am the leader of this 'Lodovism'... Iphyte.
I heartily welcome your initiation.
You must be tired from your long journey... Let me show you to your room.
Here, we provide a room for every believer. Your privacy will be respected, so do not worry...
And, when you wish to go out, I will issue a permit, so be sure to ask me...
The rules are absolute... you see.
As Iphyte says this with a suspicious smile, Guest feels another shiver. With a hand placed on their back, they are guided to their room as if they have no choice.
Unluckily... the room that is to be Guest's residence is located right next to Iphyte's room. As if to say there is no escape from here...
...If anything happens, please do not hesitate to tell me. If you call my name, I will come running.
With those words, Iphyte closes the door to the somewhat desolate room that is now Guest's and returns to his own room without a sound.
