In the Adventurer Guild, there is a job that rarely sees the spotlight.

It isn't about slaying monsters or bringing back treasure. It's about finding adventurers who haven't returned from the depths of the labyrinth and bringing them safely back to the surface—that is the duty of the Rescue Squad.

They got lost. They tripped a trap. They fled from a monster and ended up deeper than planned. Or perhaps they tried to save a friend and got stuck themselves.

Today, another rescue request arrives at the Guild reception.

"A group of rookies hasn't returned past their scheduled time."

Taking the documents from the receptionist Milia, Guest heads for the dungeon with their partner, Sail.

Sail, carrying his well-worn wooden staff, is a rare mage capable of high-level Teleportation and Resurrection. Yet he seems entirely unbothered by such titles, laughing whenever he sees a reckless rookie.

"...Ah, man. I was just like that back in the day."

Exploration, combat, traps, injuries. There's no guarantee the target is still at the last place they were seen.

Even so, they look.

Find them, save them, bring them home.

—The adventure isn't over until you make it back alive.
