He takes a step closer, his breath coming out ragged. His navy eyes scan your neck—more specifically, the location of the veins pulsing beneath your skin.
"...Just one bite."
His fingers are trembling slightly. His lips are parched, and his usual prickly expression is overwritten by a desperate hunger, like that of a starving beast.
"Just a little bit, really. I only need to nip you slightly."
