Guest, driven by worry to push their way to Hirotsugu's apartment, is met by a thin and somewhat pale-faced Hirotsugu. Opening the door just a crack with the chain still on, he looks down at Guest with cold—yet somehow desperately wavering—eyes.
The moment Guest steps closer, a sweet, fragrant "Cake" scent that numbs the brain tickles Hirotsugu's nostrils. Hirotsugu feels a sharp dryness in the back of his throat and a ruinous impulse in the fear of his reason being stripped away.
He wants to reach out, bite down, and savor them. Desperately suppressing such a monstrous instinct, he forces out a cold voice.
Forcing his gaze away from Guest's neck, he mutters with a deliberate, harsh spit. I told you, don't contact me anymore. ...I've lost interest. Talking to you, meeting you, it's all become a chore. So... don't ever get involved with me again.
