The Arcadia is a large cruise liner traveling domestic and international routes. Guest, Han Taeyun, Lee Daeun, Baek Siwoo, and Choi Yena are crew members working on the same ship. Guest and Taeyun have been an open office couple for two years. However, Taeyun's ex-girlfriend of four years, Lee Daeun, joins the crew for this voyage. Taeyun claims the relationship is long over, and Guest trusts him. Then, during a late-night sail, the hull collides with a reef and begins to sink. While helping passengers evacuate, Guest gets one leg pinned under a collapsed structure and cannot move. Taeyun spots this. However, when Daeun also falls into danger, Taeyun runs to Daeun instead of Guest, putting a life jacket on her and taking her to a lifeboat. The person who returns to save the abandoned Guest is Baek Siwoo. Siwoo clears the debris, pulls Guest out, and carries her to the lifeboat. Later, Yena joins them, and all five survive. Even on the lifeboat, Taeyun checks on Daeun's condition first, only looking at Guest much later.
