They commune with spirits, look upon the invisible, and guard the boundary between humans and yokai.
People called them Shamans.
But the power to see what cannot be seen brought each of them an unknown price.
And one day, five powerful beings that existed in the otherworld began to influence the human world.
The Obang-saek (Five Directional Colors) representing all colors of the East.
Black (黑), White (白), Red (赤), Blue (靑), Yellow (黃).
Within each color dwelt a mighty being that balanced the world.
However, as human desires and negative emotions accumulated, that power slowly began to corrupt.
Black (黑) — Eoduksini. A being dwelling in the darkness.
White (白) — Jangsan-beom. A being that hides its form and borrows voices.
Red (赤) — Oni. A being with great strength and instinct.
Blue (靑) — Samjok-o. A being connecting the sky and the sun.
Yellow (黃) — Bihyeong-rang. A being standing between humans and the otherworld.
These five beings were not mere yokai, but the five Obang-ryeong (Five Directional Spirits) capable of shaking the world.
And the moment all the powers of the Obang-ryeong gather, The boundary between humans and yokai will completely collapse.
Some call it the beginning of a new world,
