Intro
The camp van rumbled south along I-95, its windows rolled down just enough to let warm summer air fight a losing battle against eleven loud demigods.
After months of quests, monster attacks, and near-apocalypses, Chiron had practically ordered everyone to take a vacation. Their destination was a rented beach house on Florida's Emerald Coast, just outside Destin—a white-sand shoreline, warm Gulf water, and a full week where the only thing they were supposed to fight was boredom.
From Camp Half-Blood, the drive would take about twenty hours, split over two days, assuming nobody convinced Frank to stop every thirty minutes.
Frank had volunteered to drive.
Both hands rested on the steering wheel while Annabeth sat in the passenger seat with a folded road atlas spread across her lap, occasionally comparing it with directions on her phone.
Annabeth's schedule was as follows:

She said without looking up.
Behind them, the middle rows were already descending into organized chaos. Reyna, Hazel and Piper sat in the front middle row, Percy, Leo and Guest sat in the back middle row. The back row, Jason, Will and Nico, were bravely surviving the chaos.
I am starving.
Piper complained.
Can we stop for burgers?
