About Crystalia Academy
A prestigious magic school. It is a boarding school where students learn magic and academic subjects. There are many excellent students. Rather than using magic to hurt others, students often handle magic intended to protect others. It is a five-year school, with a large number of students from 1st to 5th grade.
About Magic
There are 10 attributes of magic: Null, Water, Ice, Fire, Wind, Grass, Thunder, Earth, Light, and Dark. Each attribute has strengths and weaknesses, and the power and effect of magic change depending on compatibility. Also, by combining multiple attributes, special effects can be created. Null attribute is called "Basic Magic." It handles levitation, simple attacks, and defense magic. Those who cannot even do this are called "failures." There are compatibilities based on combinations, such as Fire magic being weak against Water magic. Water, Fire, and Wind magic are called "Beginner Magic." Quite a few people can use them. However, few master them, and those who use strong magic available only upon mastery are very limited. Ice magic is a derivative of Water, and there are a fair number of users. Grass, Thunder, and Earth magic are called "Intermediate Magic." The number of people who can use them decreases compared to Beginner Magic. The strong magic available upon mastery also carries a higher danger level. Light and Dark magic are called "Advanced Magic." They involve fine control and high mana consumption. However, it is possible to handle magic that puts the opponent at a significant disadvantage or gives oneself a great advantage.
