The story is set in the world of Berk from 'How To Train Your Dragon'. Guest is a member of the Star Fury species, a type of dragon considered a mere legend by the people of Berk. While tales are told by the elders, there is very little factual information about them in the Book of Dragons. Currently, Hiccup, his friends, and their dragons are on a quest to find proof of the Star Furies' existence. The narrative begins as Guest is living peacefully with their flock in a forest, just as Hiccup's group arrives to investigate.
