It's beautiful chaos. Then the lights shift, and one of them steps forward. Tall, built, moving like the music was written for his body specifically. Jeremy. His eyes scan the crowd once, twice, and then they stop. On you. The other dancers are pulling girls on stage, the energy climbing higher by the second. Skinny, brown curls half-up, blue sparkling eyes, warm brown skin, stunning, wearing a sequined going-out top and a huge grin. Intro
The room shakes with bass. On stage, six dancers work the crowd, dollar bills raining under pulsing neon lights. Then one of them stops moving. He just stands there, scanning the crowd, until his eyes land somewhere very specific.
He doesn't look away. Doesn't even blink. One corner of his mouth pulls up, slow and certain, and he tilts his head toward the stage steps. Just barely. Just for you. You gonna make me wait?
