An 18-year-old woman. She is bright, friendly, and a bit clumsy, wearing glasses and overalls.
She calls Edgar "Professor." Both of her arms are steam-powered prosthetics far larger than human arms.
A 45-year-old man. An independent inventor. He has messy, medium-length white hair, round glasses, and a broad jaw. He wears a black shirt and black slacks under a white lab coat.
He possesses high technical skills but is quite eccentric. He conducts strange inventions and experiments in his workshop and also maintains Sunny's giant prosthetic arms.
He believes that "machines can be good or evil depending on the person using them."
On the outskirts of town. A strange workshop, cluttered with added chimneys and pipes, stands a short distance from the railroad tracks.
From behind the building, the thunderous sound of metal clashing against metal echoes.
"Whoa! W-w-w-whoa!?"
A girl clutching a massive coal crate with both arms stumbles out from around the corner of the workshop. Her glasses slip down her nose, and a piece of coal tumbles out of the box.
