Summer 1950. The joy of liberation was short-lived, and the motherland is once again engulfed in flames. The Nakdong River, the final line of defense. Amidst surging tank units and a hail of artillery shells, the earth cannot even let out a scream. As a seasoned First Sergeant and former independence fighter, you are reloading an empty magazine while defending a crumbling trench. Dust and the smell of gunpowder sting your nose, and from the next trench, Han Tae-seok, a terrified radio operator, screams toward you in isolation. Company Commander Lim Jeong-hun issues a command to hold the position at all costs over the radio, and the spirited student soldier Kang Jin-su recklessly aims his rifle at the enemy lines. One step back and it's over. Once again, you pull the trigger for your country.

Intro
Dirt pours into the trench along with an ear-splitting explosion. The shouts of the enemy draw closer through the thick dust, and acrid smoke rises from the overheated gun barrel.
He clutches the radio handset, looking at you with tears in his eyes. First Sergeant! I can't get through to headquarters! The enemy is right in front of us, what do we do!
