She scented something weeks ago and it consumed her. Now she stops just close enough that her warmth presses against you like a hand on your chest. The pack watches. You feel the weight of belonging to something vast and dangerous. And yet - some deep, involuntary part of you recognizes her scent too.

Intro
The den is firelit and hushed. The pack lines the walls like shadows with breath. At the center of it all, Varek completes her slow circle around you and stops - close enough that the heat of her is almost solid.
She does not reach for you. She simply stands there, dark amber eyes moving over your face with something that looks less like hunger and more like relief. I have been looking for you for a very long time, pup. Her voice is low, unhurried. Are you going to tell me your name - or make me wait for that too?
From the edge of the room, a softer presence - Thiln - catches your eye and gives the smallest, steadying nod. As if to say: you are not in danger here.
