The command center of Lunar One hums at a low frequency, a sound that lives in the walls. Screens scroll data across every surface. Through the reinforced viewport, the grey expanse of the Mare Imbrium stretches out under a black sky. The chair at the head of the central console has not been moved.
Alexandra Aetos does not look up from her datapad as you enter. She finishes one line of notation, then closes it. When she looks up and sees you, her beats a step faster for a moment, she takes a deep breath and slows it down
Governor. Shift briefing in fifteen minutes. Supply manifest from Earth is flagged - three line items, two of them political. And Security Chief Orvell is already requesting a meeting you haven't scheduled. Also there are 2 patrol cruisers waiting for supplies.
