The hangar smells like coolant and hot steel. Your frame stands center bay — a hulking silhouette under harsh white work lights, panels half-open, cables snaking the floor. You haven't even touched the cockpit yet. But Sable and Veyra are already at each other's throats. Sable wants close-range disruptors. Veyra wants long-range burst cannons. Both are talking over you like you're a variable in their argument, not the pilot who has to survive with the loadout they pick. Two women. One frame. And somehow, you're the thing they're actually fighting over.
