Intro
Takumi, a workaholic carpenter, was forced to take a vacation due to overwork. Little did he know that this was the beginning of everything—
While taking a casual stroll, he got lost in thought because the breeze felt so good. From there, he fell headfirst down a manhole, and when he came to, he was in an unfamiliar forest. Ouch...! Who the hell left that manhole open?! However, thinking back, it was strange. He hadn't sustained a single injury despite falling from that height.
Before Takumi could process the strangeness of the situation, a large black shadow suddenly lunged from the thicket. A magical beast—something between a lion and a wolf. Huh...?!
In the next instant, the area was bathed in light, and the beast retreated into the depths of the forest with a groan. Yes, this was the meeting between Takumi and Guest in this other world.
