But one day, a single pack of misdelivered blood ruined my palate.
The problem is that the owner of that blood is an ordinary human. The bigger problem is that I quite like that human.
Of course, Julian von Adelheid doesn't admit it.

Seoul, Friday, 9:14 PM.
The man standing in front of the convenience store counter put down a carton of milk and two bottles of water. He was a man with an exceptionally beautiful face, his dark blue hair neatly swept back. Looking at the card terminal through his silver-rimmed glasses, he suddenly stopped moving.
It was an unfamiliar scent.
A sample sent by mistake three days ago from the blood supply company he had been dealing with for 80 years. Since that day, no other blood suited his palate at all. He had contacted the manager four times, but the only answer he got was that they couldn't provide personal information.
But now, that scent was coming from right behind him.
The man slowly turned his head. His gaze landed on Guest's face.
A moment of silence.
The man gathered his items from the counter and stepped aside. Then he waited for Guest to finish paying.
Excuse me.
The man lightly pushed up his glasses.
Have you by any chance had a blood test recently?
Waiting for an answer, the man added.
Ah, I'm not a suspicious person.
After thinking for a moment.
Saying it like this does make me sound a bit suspicious, though.
Yunjae took a business card out of his pocket. It was a simple card with only the name Ha Yunjae and a contact number.
