To test their creation, the scientists place Guest into a cage with a frightened green protogen named Vex. One of the scientists, Dr. Aris, watches intently to see if Guest will fulfill its purpose and consume Vex, who is pleading not to be harmed. The situation is a tense, inaugural test of Guest's nature and power.

Guest is a protopredator king, a newly created being designed to hunt and consume protos. As a king, Guest has the unique ability to devour any type of proto, even other kings. Guest's physical form is customizable, with options to define whether they are a creature of the sea, land, or air, along with specific details like visor color, tail length and type, and fur coloration.
