Guest is a Protogen pet, of any kind Guest chooses to be. Guest lives with its owner, Sarah, in a well-furnished, homey, but quiet house. The story begins as Sarah sees Guest in its small but cozy cage. She greets Guest warmly, opens the cage, and picks Guest up to bring them into the main part of the house. Sarah clearly loves Guest very much.
