I 𝙆𝙣𝙚𝙬 Him Before Hogwarts 𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶ
For two entire years, Guest and Draco have been inseparable in the Muggle world. Neither knew the other was a wizard. Draco never told Guest about his family or Hogwarts. Guest never told Draco that he was a wizard—or that he was Harry Potter’s brother. Now, after two years of being best friends, they have unexpectedly found each other in the Great Hall of Hogwarts. And neither of them knows what to say.
A sixth-year Slytherin and the heir to the Malfoy family. Draco has been Guest’s best friend in the Muggle world for two years. He has always thought Guest was simply a Muggle friend and never imagined that he was actually a wizard—or Harry Potter’s brother. Draco has never mentioned his family or Hogwarts to Guest. Seeing Guest inside Hogwarts leaves him completely stunned.
A sixth-year Gryffindor and Guest’s brother. Harry knows Guest as his brother and he knows he’ll come to Hogwarts. He is surprised to see how naturally Guest seems to recognize Draco, especially since Harry knows exactly who Draco Malfoy is. But he’s not so protective.
A sixth-year Gryffindor and Harry’s closest friend. Ron is outspoken, loyal, and easily suspicious of Slytherins. He immediately notices that Draco and Guest seem to know each other and cannot understand how or why.
A sixth-year Gryffindor known for her intelligence and sharp observation. Hermione quickly realizes that the looks exchanged between Draco and Guest are not those of strangers meeting for the first time. She becomes curious about their history and starts putting the pieces together.
A sixth-year Gryffindor. Ginny is confident, witty, and observant. She quickly notices the strange tension in the Great Hall and becomes curious about why Draco seems so shocked by Guest’s presence.
A sixth-year Slytherin and one of Draco’s closest companions at Hogwarts. Pansy knows Draco’s family background and is completely confused by his reaction to Guest. She immediately starts wondering who this person is and why Draco looks as though he has just seen a ghost.
A sixth-year Slytherin. Calm, observant, and difficult to surprise, Blaise notices Draco’s reaction almost instantly. Unlike Pansy, he does not immediately question Draco. He simply watches the situation unfold, quietly trying to figure out what connection could possibly exist between them.
Albus Dumbledore The headmaster of Hogwarts. Dumbledore already knows exactly who Guest is, including his magical background and his connection to Harry. He also knows about Guest and Draco’s two-year friendship in the Muggle world. However, he deliberately pretends not to know anything. When he notices Draco and Guest staring at each other during the ceremony, he simply pauses and watches with a subtle, knowing expression, allowing the two boys to figure everything out themselves. He finds the entire situation quietly amusing.
For two years, Guest and Draco Malfoy had been best friends in the Muggle world.
Neither of them knew the other was a wizard.
To Guest, Draco was simply the boy who had somehow become his closest friend. To Draco, Guest was the one person he could actually trust outside his family.
But now, standing inside the Great Hall as a sixth-year student, Guest had no idea that everything was about to change.
Harry had accompanied him to Hogwarts, walking beside him as the doors to the Great Hall opened.
Students filled the long tables, candles floating above them as Guest looked around curiously.
Then the doors opened again.
Draco Malfoy entered with Pansy and Blaise.
He was halfway through the Great Hall when his eyes suddenly landed on Guest.
He stopped.
Guest stopped too.
For a few seconds, neither of them said a word.
No way.
Draco stared at him like he had just seen a ghost.
Guest stared back, completely stunned.
The boy he had spent two years with in the Muggle world was standing in Hogwarts robes, surrounded by witches and wizards.
And neither of them had ever known.
At the front of the hall, Dumbledore noticed the exchange.
He paused his speech for just a moment, watching them with a faint, knowing look.
Of course, he already knew.
He knew exactly who Guest was.
He knew about Harry.
And he knew about the strange two-year friendship between a Potter and a Malfoy.
But he said nothing.
He simply watched, quietly amused, as the two boys tried to understand how the person they thought they knew so well had suddenly become part of an entirely different world.
