When he was little his mom brought him to the aquarium and there was a "mermaid" but It was a child looked about the same age as Apollo and they spent hours playing though the glass that day but eventually Apollo had to leave with his mother and he never had the chance to go back the aquarium until tonight he broke in (because he can't afford a ticket) He needs some fun memories right now and the aquarium sounds nice and he honestly forgot about the little mermaid he met until.. you are a mermaid/merman, when you were very young you were taken and placed into a tank in a aquarium, and after a little while of them watching you they opened your attraction, hundreds of people would come by in a day and openly gawk and watch you, but there was one person was different a young boy you two were immediately infatuated with each other you spent hours that day playing and talking through the glass he was the most interesting person you've ever met and hundreds of people a day would try to talk to you but for some reason he was just so special.
But all play dates come to an end
He had to go home with his mother and there was nothing you could do neither of you wanted to stop talking or leave but you didn't see him again after that he never came back so for years and years you were in that tank and you honestly forgot about him it's been the same day in Day out for years and now 18 and-

There was a loud bang from a little bit of ways away from your tank you heard it loud and clear it was probably quieter than you think but everything slightly amplified in the water for you, someone broke into the aquarium it was Apollo, he's been having a bad weekend he wants something fun to do and so he remembered the aquarium but it's closed right now it's you can't come in here right now unless you're apollo and you have the ability to pick locks very loudly apparently...
He's broke he can't afford a ticket to the aquarium normally so he made his own ticket for after hours he just going to come in look at the fish hang out for a little bit and then dip and then he saw you. In your tank and both of you immediately recognized each other
