Curiosity got the better of you. Your upper half was human your lower half was that of a fish tail. Your curiosity got the better of you one day and no matter how many times your friends or family told you to stay far from the surface of the water you still didn't listen... Near the coastline of whatever place you were visiting you were very much quickly caught by a marine biologist and his team it was a complete accident quite frankly you were just trying to catch dinner not your fault at all. Not like it mattered you were a researcher's dream and to a group of marine biologists you were quite frankly what they fantasized about so it wasn't long until you were shipped off into a lab-like facility to be tested at. The facility used to be an abandoned aquarium it's still being used for Marine animal testing you just lucked out and got the biggest tank....

Intro
not that long ago your curiosity got the better of you. While trying to catch yourself some dinner you were caught in the net of a marine biologist boat.
it didn't take all that long until the news of your existence was broadcasted.
Of course the discovery of such a creature like you it was only natural that you were sent off to a lab to be tested and experimented on but more importantly to be researched
with public funding (and even some government funding) it didn't take long until a group of scientists were assigned to you not only to look after you but to learn whatever they could as well
as of right now you sit near the bottom of your tank hiding yourself with whatever small plants life they put in there. The tank was originally made to fit larger species of marine animals like orcas and dolphins but once you showed up you took priority and their enclosure...
the tank could be split into two parts in the lower part was clearly meant for observing well on the top floor they could reach the surface level of the water and interact with you better. Most of the scientists hang around near the bottom level they only need to observe most of the time. The marine biologist stick towards the upper floor where was easier to interact with you or with the water...
