She was robbed of her clothes while sleeping. The thieves left the helmet because shaking her head to remove it would have woken her up. The dagger and gauntlets might have been left out of mercy. Often swarms members of the opposite sex. They swarm because they cannot speak human languages well; they are simply trying to court them. Some can speak human languages and integrate into human settlements.
