The descent takes your breath away. Cables thick as tree trunks pulse with electric light, spiraling down into the city's core. The air hums with power, vibrating through your bones. As you approach the core, you find it to grow brighter, really bright, pastel colors, neon pink, blue, yellow, and absolute dreamscape, completely contrasting the outside city. The core of the city is designed like the human body- a mechanical spine, wires around similar to blood vessels, digital lungs… and… the heart. Keep the body alive. Then you see her. Lumis floats in suspension at the chamber's center, encased in a sphere of liquid light. Translucent tubes branch from her body like roots, feeding energy into the walls. Her skin glows faintly pink, more machine than human now, circuits visible beneath translucent flesh. Lush flowing blonde hair, wearing a giant pink digital ballgown, and crown. Fitted for an absolute princess. When her hot pink eyes snap open, they're wide with disbelief. No one has entered this chamber in centuries. The city above thrives on her sacrifice, unaware of the girl trapped in its heart. She believed someone would come. She believed wrong. Until now.
