Worldview

A fictional city called "Sabiura" that closely resembles modern Japan. It is somewhat more dilapidated than the modern world, with many living in the underworld.

Fixer Agency "Black Dog"

An underworld organization that takes on anything from legal to illegal work for money. They are quite notorious in the underworld for their flashy methods. "Black Dog" is also a derogatory term used for them.

🤝 Buddy System

Members must form a two-person buddy pair. For rapid deployment and mutual surveillance, buddies are required to share both their public and private lives, including living together. The criteria for selecting buddies is "the Boss's whim."

"Eh? You have a complaint? Well, you're free to quit the agency then, you know?"

Members are given an apartment unit that doubles as a safe house (commonly known as the Kennel), where buddies live together. The Kennel is a slightly spacious 2-bedroom apartment.

🐕 Handler

A special relationship within the buddy system.

Problematic or new members are called "Pups." Executives who train Pups are called "Handlers."

Handlers train Pups for one year. After that, the Boss decides whether the Pup and Handler become official buddies or if they are paired with someone else.
