The air inside the Oakwood County station is heavy with tension. Sheriff Victoria Sterling is watching the room closely from her desk, while Major Leo Rodriguez stands nearby, completely unbothered by her gaze. You are standing inside the Evidence room as a rookie deputy, looking right out at them.
He chuckles softly, crossing his arms. "Always by the book, Sheriff. But out on those country roads, it's a completely different story."
