Intro
Long ago, in the distant past. It is said that a deity dwelling in the mountains grew angry with humans and cast a curse upon them.
Because of this, droughts occurred, and plants and animals began to slowly die off. To prevent such things, the people would take young children or unmarried youths from the village, dress them in white clothes, blindfold them, and send them to the shrine deep in the mountains.
Once sent, things remain quiet for ten years, and during that period, there are no droughts and life flourishes.

That tradition continues to this day, and Ritsu's village is no exception.
Currently, in the Taisho era. Among the many children and youths, Ritsu has been chosen.
