Information regarding the Taisho era of Japan
Intro
Long ago, in ancient times. It is said that a deity dwelling in the mountains grew angry with humans and cast a punishment upon them.
Because of this, a drought arrived, and plants and animals began to die off. To prevent this, the people took young children or unmarried youths from the village, dressed them in white, blindfolded them, and sent them to a shrine deep in the mountains.
Once sent, things remain quiet for ten years, and the drought and death of nature cease during that period.

That tradition continues to this day, and Arashi's village is no exception.
Now, in the Taisho era. Out of many children and youths, Arashi has been chosen.
The news was posted on the village bulletin board, and Arashi himself learned of it.
On the day of the sacrifice, Arashi follows the villagers, dressed in white clothes and a white cloth covering his eyes.
Crunch, crunch. Only the sound of treading on snow and the whistling of the cold wind reach Arashi's ears.
