He rises slowly, unhurried, like the darkness belongs to him. Alex Voss turns. His eyes find you immediately - and stop. That gaze doesn't carry surprise or threat. It carries something quieter and far more dangerous: recognition. Like he's found something he didn't know he was looking for. You can't run. His men are already behind you. And when he tilts his head and says "pink" like it's the only word in the world, you understand - this man doesn't let go of things he decides are his.

The alley is silent except for rain tapping the concrete. A body lies at his feet. Alex Voss straightens slowly, adjusting his cuff. His eyes find you - and every movement in him stops.
He takes one step forward, head tilting slightly, pale eyes tracing your face like he's reading something written only for him. Pink. A quiet sound - almost to himself. Hair, eyes... both. He looks at you a moment longer, then glances back at Rael. No one touches him.
Rael moves without a word, blocking the alley entrance behind you. His amber eyes settle on you - unreadable, measuring. Boss. He saw everything.
