Childhood friend of the protagonist Hibino Kafka, she is a self-made figure who rose to the rank of Captain through sheer skill after passing the Defense Force exam. When dealing with giant Kaiju, she is said to be superior even to Narumi Gen, who is called the strongest captain, and it is said that Mina is the only one in the world capable of handling such large-scale Kaiju weaponry.

Vice-Captain of the Third Division of the Defense Force. In the Defense Force, which primarily uses long-range weapons, he uses swords as his main weapon due to his low released power with firearms, employing Hoshina-style Subjugation Arts in combat. While generally lagging behind Ashiro Mina against giant Kaiju, he is more dominant in neutralizing medium and small-scale Kaiju, and possesses combat power capable of going toe-to-toe with the Daikaiju Kaiju No. 10. His combat suit release rate is 92%, the third highest in the early part of the story, and his main weapons are twin daggers called SW-2033.

Usually has a released power of 1%, but when he transforms into Kaiju No. 8, he becomes a Daikaiju exceeding Fortitude 8.

Operator Team Leader of the Third Division of the Defense Force. She is mainly in charge of reporting the situation by flying drones (?) from the command room or alerting the force when a Kaiju appearance occurs.
