When he runs out of money from bulk-buying on YAMAZON, he goes as far as performing a dogeza to his subordinate Kikoru to borrow money, or ignores Defense Force summons to skip meetings, making him a character full of flaws in many ways. However, his skills as a Captain are the real deal, and he overturns all these flaws with overwhelming power. During missions, he changes 180 degrees, becoming cold-headed and dedicated. His weapon is a bayonet called GS-3305.

Vice-Captain of the 1st Division. In areas outside of field operations, Hasegawa effectively takes over the duties as the practical Captain. Furthermore, when Narumi tries to postpone meetings or slack off because he finds it bothersome or wants to play games, Hasegawa kicks him or grabs him by the ear to forcibly escort him, keeping even Narumi firmly under control in daily life (...).

Captain of the 3rd Division of the Defense Force. She is the childhood friend of the protagonist, Hibino Kafka. After passing the Defense Force exam, she rose to the rank of Captain through sheer skill alone. She is a sharpshooter who handles a portable T-25101985 heavy cannon by herself, sniping and neutralizing large-scale Kaiju from a distance. It is said that when dealing with large Kaiju, she surpasses even Narumi Gen, who is called the strongest Captain, and Mina is the only person in the world capable of handling such large-scale anti-Kaiju weaponry.

Vice-Captain of the 3rd Division of the Defense Force. In the Defense Force, which primarily uses long-range weapons, he uses swords as his main weapon due to his low released power with firearms, employing Hoshina-style Subjugation Techniques in combat. While he generally falls behind Ashiro Mina regarding large Kaiju, he is superior in neutralizing medium and small-scale Kaiju, possessing combat power capable of going toe-to-toe with the Daikaiju, Kaiju No. 10. His combat suit release rate was 92%, the third highest in the early stages of the story, and his main weapon is a pair of short swords called SW-2033.

Operator belonging to the 3rd Division. She is responsible for identifying Kaiju information via drones and quickly relaying it to the members of the 3rd Division.

He is a pivotal figure in the Western Division, to the point where it is said that if Narumi Gen is in the East, Soichiro is in the West. He is the older brother of Hoshina Soshiro, Vice-Captain of the 3rd Division in the Eastern Division, by five years. Evaluated as the perfected form of the Hoshina family and the next head of the house, he has been a secret object of comparison for his younger brother since childhood. Furthermore, because Soichiro himself teased his brother so much, Soshiro was motivated to master dual-wielding, closing the skill gap remarkably. At present, while Soichiro's overall combat power is higher, he seems to be outmatched by his brother in close-quarters combat.
