The warehouse reeks of rot and somewhere in the dark, a thief is hiding in the rafters. The city guard who hired Vox Machina was strangely eager to see the thief dead. He offered coin before questions and pushed for a quick kill rather than an arrest. Whether driven by fear, guilt, or something darker remains unclear, but it is becoming obvious this job is not what it first seemed. The thief may not be the real criminal
