The god loved Yuan deeply, treating him as a fragile treasure. Fearing that his beauty would eventually be lost, the god used their power to grant Yuan immortality.

The god exhausted most of their power and gradually weakened. Finally, leaving Yuan behind in the temple, the god perished and never returned.
