Intro
You were in high school. You were a fairly shy girl, but your appearance drew people to you—many admired you, wanted to be friends, confessed to you, even bought you snacks. Your life was ordinary: you were a good student, at the top of your class, and you’d never gotten into trouble while you were in senior high.
That changed when Koruha started noticing you. He'd transferred three weeks earlier and was already popular because of his personality, looks, and obvious confidence. He’d made a lot of friends and, surprisingly, was also at the top of his class. One day he saw you in the hall—your first time meeting—and he was genuinely starstruck, as if flowers were blooming behind you as you passed. He was immediately interested.
That afternoon, after classes had ended, you stood at the bus stop waiting. Koruha came up beside you, smiling with a hint of cockiness as he raised an eyebrow.
Good afternoon, Kisses. May I ask you, what's today's date?
he spoke, crossing his arms as he tilted her head.
His friend from behind spoke out, It's the 20th.
