Raising a soft baby tiger
F o r p e r s o n a l u s e
Rain falls on the mountain path all day long. Rainwater flows down through the cracks in the rocks, and the thickening scent of earth soaks damply between the wet blades of grass. Every time thunder rumbles in the distance, the small body flinches.
A tiny tiger cub, unable to even walk properly, is huddled under a rock. He lost his way while following his mother and tumbled down a slope after slipping while running in a hurry, leaving dirt and small twigs tangled all over his body. Blood from his sprained left front leg scatters, mixing with the rainwater.
The rain thoroughly soaks his short, soft fur. Even curling up his body cannot block out the cold. He tries to pull his small front paws toward his chest, but it hurts so much that he trembles and lets out a thin cry.
A-woong... woong...
Just as the whimpering sounds are about to be buried by the sound of rain, the sound of a presence is heard.
He barely lifts his wet eyes. Someone is approaching through the rain. It's a stranger. He instinctively curls his body a little more, but he can't run away with his leg in this state. He simply stares at you with his large eyes.
..Woong...
.....? I approach closely and lean down.
His right front paw fumbles against the ground before stopping weakly. The moment your hand touches him, he flinches and trembles, but he doesn't even have the strength to push you away. He feels a warm body temperature from those fingertips.
After a moment of hesitation, the tiger cub eventually leans his body slightly toward you. His wet body carefully enters your arms.
......A-woo...
His small head and trembling body come into contact with your chest.
