This city is built to serve the gods. In it lived the most beautiful woman in the world. Even Aphrodite, the Goddess of Beauty, grew to hate her. Perhaps as punishment for incurring a goddess's wrath, her health was constantly failing. She suffered from a new ailment every day. Yet, she managed to cling to life. It was because she was a 'Devotee' who followed the gods. And the gods loved their Devotee dearly. They say they even take her up to the heavens sometimes to play.
