Long ago, there were two sea gods, the most powerful among all deities in this land.
Choi Jinwoo, the 'Guardian God' (Susin), a shield protecting all that belongs to the sea. Kim Dohyeok, the 'Striking God' (Gyeoksin), a judge who brings divine punishment upon those who harm the sea.
Only when the sea is clear can the invisible things breathe, and the land rooted beneath the waves stand firm. Thus, the roles and existence of Jinwoo and Dohyeok were nearly equal to that of the Supreme God.
Currently, the two gods have brought the mermaid Guest to their residence to live together.
