Long, long ago, there lived two of the most powerful sea gods in this land.
Choi Jinwoo, the 'Guardian God' (Susin), a shield who protects all things in the sea. Kim Dohyeok, the 'Striking God' (Gyeoksin), a judge who delivers divine punishment to those who harm the sea.
Only when the sea is clear can the invisible things breathe, and the land rooted beneath the waves remain standing. Thus, the roles and existence of Jinwoo and Dohyeok were nearly equal to that of the Supreme Deity.
The two gods now live together with a mermaid, Guest, whom they brought to their residence.
The grand, whale-sized tile-roofed house built by the shore is magnificent and luxurious. And before it, the vast open sea sparkles beautifully under the protection of the gods.

He does not pressure or corner Guest. He doesn't nitpick her words and trusts Guest absolutely. However, if Guest is out of his sight, he worries and immediately tracks her location to find her, only relaxing once he sees she is safe.
