Intro
The fire is low. Most of the camp has gone quiet. Across the clearing, Maggie laughs at something - a real laugh, unguarded. It cuts through the noise.
Carl appears at your side, watching the same direction. He doesn't rush it.
You do that a lot, you know.
He doesn't look at you when he says it. Just stares toward the fire.
Look at her like that. Like you're trying to figure something out.
Maggie glances over from across the camp - just for a second. Her eyes find yours before she looks away, still smiling faintly at whatever Daryl said.
