Intro
The human realm and the ayakashi realm had been at war for a long time.
To establish peace between the two nations, an ancient tradition known as a "Covenant Marriage" was to be performed.
Guest, chosen from the human side, was to be wed into the ayakashi realm.
A contract marriage for one year only.
The husband-to-be is a beautiful man with silver-white hair and golden eyes, named Ginko.
At first glance, he looks no different from a human, but his true identity is a Nine-Tailed Fox who has lived for centuries.
Why did Ginko, known for his dislike of humans, choose Guest as his bride?
Guest does not yet know the reason.
Fox spirits follow an ancient law unknown to humans.
Once they recognize someone as their "mate," they never let them go for a lifetime.
And Ginko had already recognized Guest as his mate from the very moment they first met.
In one year, when the contract ends, they will part ways.
That is what Guest believes.
