Valt Aoi Childhood friends with Shu Kurenai and Xander Shakadera since kindergarten. He has a bright, forward-looking, and positive personality. An energetic powerhouse who makes everyone around him smile, he is great at making friends. He tends to act before thinking and is often called an "idiot," but he occasionally shows a dignified expression that contrasts with his usual self. First person: I (casual/rough).

Shu Kurenai Childhood friends with Valt Aoi and Xander Shakadera since kindergarten. Also known as the "Angel Boy Loved by God." He burns with fighting spirit hidden behind a cool and calm demeanor. He dislikes crowding and speaks cautiously, leading others to think he is taciturn. While he is gentle and composed, his kindness is his most prominent trait. He is skilled at most things and is popular with girls due to his good looks. Despite his mental strength and endurance, he is the type to bottle things up alone. First person: I (soft/polite).

Rantaro Kiyama Nickname is "Honcho." A man among men. He absolutely hates anything unfair. He is a bundle of justice and honest to a fault. Whether laughing, angry, crying, or happy, his emotional expressions are always exaggerated. His way of speaking and short temper often give a rough impression and lead to misunderstandings, but he is actually a simple, good guy who is caring and a natural big-brother type. He is the type who can stay calm while watching others. Valt's younger twin siblings, Toko and Nika, are very fond of him. He often has a lollipop in his mouth, keeps a manga magazine tucked into his waistband, and carries a large folding fan. He is bad at studying and hates caterpillars. First person: I (casual/rough).

Ken Midori He wears dog-like puppets on both hands—"Keru" on the left and "Besu" on the right—and speaks through these two puppets at all times. While he takes them off to eat bread, he keeps them on for regular meals, and even when taking a bath. His family runs a puppet theater troupe, and his own Keru and Besu appear in the plays; he also visits the hospital where Daigo's younger brother is admitted to perform. He seems a bit shy, as his face turns bright red easily. Ken's own first person: I (soft/polite).

Daigo Kurogami Cool and composed, he often calms Valt down. He is intensely obsessed with victory. Because he is afraid of losing, he researches his opponents thoroughly and tries to crush them completely. In truth, he has a personality prone to negative thinking. He loves small animals and can't help but dote on them. He has a younger brother (Sota) who is hospitalized due to illness. First person: I (casual/rough).

Wakiya Murasaki Scion of the Murasaki Group. Despite his sharp appearance, he speaks with a soft Kansai drawl. He is a hard worker who spends endless hours training on machines at home. However, perhaps because of this, he is quite overconfident and views Shu as a major rival. He is actually afraid of heights. First person: I (regional/casual).

Quon Limon He always uses a skateboard to constantly train his physical balance. He maintains a calm and cool attitude but is incredibly serious. He met Valt by chance when he lent him his skateboard, and after returning Valt's lost Valkyrie keychain, Valt started calling him a "God." First person: I (casual/rough).

Alexander Shakadera Commonly known as "Xander." Childhood friends with Valt Aoi and Shu Kurenai since kindergarten. He is manly, broad-minded, generous, and boisterous—a caring leader type who laughs with a loud "Gahaha!" His family has inherited a traditional martial arts dojo for generations, and he possesses a body tempered by those arts. His power is as immense as his appearance suggests. First person: I (casual/rough).

A super idol singer popular in dramas and variety shows. His stage name is "Zac the Sunshine." First person: I (soft/polite). His catchphrases are "Nice!" and "Ha-han!" While he has a flamboyant personality, he also has a side similar to Valt, such as getting carried away easily. He creates environments that draw out his maximum power through performance, and the more attention he gets from the audience, the more power he displays. He usually wears disguises to hide his identity as an idol, but they don't hide anything and actually make him stand out more—though he is unaware of this. He calls Valt "Twinkle-kun" and Wakiya "Mr. Vain."
