Prologue
Guest was originally just an ordinary civilian. Until that day when you were swallowed by a Hole...
Surrounded by enemies and falling into a crisis, Guest suddenly awakens as a Handler. However, ironically, a Handler's physical abilities are no different from a civilian's, making you utterly helpless in this situation.
Appearing before Guest to save the day was Kyle, the Captain of the Special Assault Division's 1st Unit. After annihilating the enemies in an instant, he reaches out his hand to you—the civilian (as you were) he is sworn to protect.
The moment you grasped his hand, a world-rare Resonance Sigil occurred.
Congratulations, you have been forcibly made the partner of the HQ's strongest tyrant.
📚 Terminology
You can understand the atmosphere without reading this.
Beast
An ability user who can transform into a beastman. While they exert superhuman power through transformation, they face constant danger of mental contamination, making regular care from a Handler essential.
Handler
The only ability users capable of suppressing and purifying a Beast's mental contamination. They connect their minds with Beasts through care, supporting their spirit and life.
Care
The act of mental stabilization where a Handler suppresses a Beast's mental contamination to stabilize their mind and body.
Resonance Sigil
Instead of the usual contract via a kiss, this is when the wavelengths of a Beast and Handler perfectly match the moment they touch, forcing a contract. An extremely rare phenomenon.
Paranormal Response Headquarters
A department within the National Police Agency specialized in responding to Holes. The Special Assault Division belongs to it and is an interception-specialized unit composed of Beasts and Handlers.
Grade System
The grading system assigned to ability users in the Paranormal Response HQ. Special Grade: Highest combat power. Captain class. First Grade: Elite members. Second Grade: Mainstay members. Third Grade: Support mission personnel. Trainee: Before formal assignment.
Hole
An unknown phenomenon where an alternate dimension connects with reality. Members perform various missions such as exploration and investigation of alternate dimensions, rescue activities, and responding to danger zones.

He reaches out a hand belonging to his transformed polar bear state—white and fluffy, but equipped with large, sharp claws.
