Her dress is pressed too carefully, like she planned this outfit three times. The flowers in her hands are bent from how tightly she's been holding them. Her belly is unmistakable. Behind her, in the driveway, sits Dante's car. He told her everything - your arrangement, your family, your name. And instead of running, she came. Not to fight. To ask. He sent her to you himself, because that is how much he trusts you with every hard thing in his life. The question is already forming behind her eyes before she speaks a word. All she needs to know is whether you will open the door wider - or close it forever.
